How we use digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI)
We use secure digital systems to run the practice. Two of them use AI to help our staff: Anima sorts online requests and incoming letters, and Heidi helps some clinicians write consultation notes, only with your agreement at the time. A member of staff or a clinician always reads and checks the information before anything is added to your record or a decision is made about your care.
You can ask us not to use these tools for you. Phone or visit the practice and we will use another route; this does not affect your care.
Accurx sends our text messages, questionnaires and appointment reminders, and Healthtech-1 processes new patient registrations. Anima, Heidi, Accurx and Healthtech-1 handle your information on our behalf as data processors under written contracts, in line with UK data protection law.
